Overview
I was a member of City University of Hong Kong's (CityU’s) anti-scam campaign, creating social media content for City-Youth Empowerment Project's (CYEP's) Instagram account. Based on my previous experience at HKHS designing cybersecurity training materials, I offered to my team that we increase CityU students’ scam awareness using comic strips.
I was responsible for developing the narrative and storyboard of the 花樣詐騙 comic series, which follows a hedgehog and her friends as they fall victim to common scams before uncovering a sinister conspiracy. I collaborated with my team extensively through iterative feedback cycles to guarantee relevancy and efficacy. After completed my part, I would share my finalised storyboards to the freelance artist with whom we worked with to draw the comic strips digitally.
This project was originally envisioned as an eight-part Instagram comic. Unfortunately, the episodes were not completed because of the halt of CYEP in 2022.
