Overview
As part of 1a space’s marketing team, I promoted art exhibitions and programmes via Instagram, Facebook, and email. My position comprised creating engaging and visually appealing content to attract in-person participation while keeping brand consistency across platforms and responding to stakeholder requirements.

Worked with colleagues, artists, and curators to create video and photographic content for 1a space’s social channels, including:
- Exhibition/Programme Promotional Videos: Led the entire process of creating promotional videos, from narrative development to post-production editing. Content was finalised through team assessments to ensure alignment with the curatorial vision and audience engagement goals.
- Artist/Curator Interview Highlights: Co-developed interview questions, coordinated shooting responsibilities (e.g., camera operation, lighting setup), and carried out post-production editing for interview clips. Streamlined feedback loops ensure curatorial vision and audience engagement.
- Event Photography: Captured audience participation and panel discussions for social media marketing and archival purposes.
Email Campaigns
- Contributed to email marketing strategies by designing e-newsletters (see examples below) to foster relationships with our subscribers and drive in-person attendance at exhibitions.
- Collaborated with the team to maintain visual and narrative consistency among email content and social media marketing.
